You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us at hello@strategicpresence.institute.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send you non-marketing messages relating to purchases, bookings, invoices, legal notices, programme access, or customer service.

These may include essential cookies required for website functionality, analytics cookies such as Google Analytics, advertising cookies and pixels such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel, and tracking technologies used to measure email, website, and campaign performance.
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies on your device. You can disable or manage cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function properly if you do.
7. Payments and Billing Information
If you purchase from us, your payment may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or another secure payment processor. We do not usually store full credit card details ourselves. We may retain transaction records, invoices, receipts, billing details, and related purchase information for tax, accounting, legal, reporting, and business administration purposes.
8. Workshops, Webinars, Programmes, Recordings, and Events
If you attend a workshop, webinar, online session, group programme, consulting session, coaching session, or event, we may collect information relating to your attendance, participation, contributions, questions, feedback, and communications. Some sessions may be recorded for replay, training, programme delivery, internal review, quality improvement, or marketing purposes. Where practical, we will notify you if a session is being recorded.
If you do not wish to appear in a recording, you may be able to keep your camera off, use a first name only, avoid sharing personal information in group settings, or contact us before the session to discuss options. We will not intentionally use your identifiable image, voice, testimonial, or case study for marketing purposes without your consent, unless otherwise clearly notified and permitted by law.
9. Testimonials, Feedback, and Case Studies
If you provide a testimonial, review, success story, feedback, or case study, we may ask for your permission to use it in our marketing, website, social media, emails, sales pages, or other promotional material. We may also disclose personal information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements or policies, protect our rights and business, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or transfer or restructure all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy safeguards.
12. International Data Transfers
We are based in New Zealand, but some of our third-party service providers may store or process personal information outside New Zealand, including in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or other locations where our providers operate. Where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is subject to privacy safeguards comparable to those required under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, or that another lawful basis for the disclosure applies.
13. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These steps may include using reputable third-party platforms, password protection and access controls, secure payment processing, two-factor authentication where practical, limiting access to those who need it, reviewing systems and processes, and using secure storage and data management systems. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Privacy Breaches
If a privacy breach occurs, we will take reasonable steps to contain, assess, and respond to it. If a breach has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner where required by law. We may also notify relevant service providers, professional advisers, regulators, or other parties where appropriate.
15. How Long We Keep Personal Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, anonymise, or securely archive it.
16. Your Rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have rights in relation to your personal information. Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you and to request correction of that information. Where applicable, you may also have the right to request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, request a portable copy of your information, or complain to a privacy or data protection authority.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at hello@strategicpresence.institute. We may need to verify your identity before responding. In some cases, we may be legally permitted or required to refuse a request, in whole or in part, and will explain why where reasonable and lawful.
17. Accuracy of Personal Information
We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information we hold is accurate, complete, and up to date where necessary. You can help us by ensuring the information you provide is accurate and by letting us know if your details change.
18. Your Choices
You may choose not to provide certain personal information, though this may limit our ability to provide products, services, resources, programme access, support, or communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, manage cookies through your browser settings, contact us to access or correct your information, ask us to delete certain information subject to legal and record-keeping obligations, choose not to participate in recorded sessions where reasonable options are available, and avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless necessary and requested.
19. Children and Young People
Our website, services, programmes, workshops, and resources are intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or young people under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
20. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Our website, emails, social media, programmes, or resources may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party websites or platforms, and recommend that you review their privacy policies. This may include platforms such as Zoom, Stripe, Google, Kit, Systeme, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, social media platforms, booking tools, learning platforms, or other providers.
21. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, website, services, technology, legal obligations, or privacy practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, website notice, or another appropriate method.
